How Robert Glasper mother Kim Yvette Glasper was murdered

According to singer and songwriter, Robert Glasper, he was mostly influenced by his mother Kim Yvette Glasper, who sang jazz and blues professionally. She took him with her to club dates rather than leave her son with babysitters. She was the music director at the East Wind Baptist Church, where Glasper first performed in public.

Robert Glasper was born into a musical family with strong Christian faith, his parents Kim Yvette Glasper and Gerald Glasper were his parents and they raised him in a strong Christian home. His father was a blues guitarist, and his mother was a choir director.

Things seemed to be going on smoothly for Robert Glasper as he usually played during services for three churches at the time, BaptistCatholic, and Seventh-day Adventist.

In 2006, Robert Glasper was met with the tragedy of the death of his mum Kim Yvette Glasper-Dobbs, who was murdered alongside her second husband.
