Chris Pronger children: Meet Jack Hunt, George William, and Lilah Pronger

Chris Pronger is a defenseman in the Canadian Professional Ice Hockey League. He quit the National Hockey League (NHL) in 2011 due to Post-Concussion Syndrome.

He was a part of the Anaheim Ducks’ Stanley Cup-winning squad in 2007. Chris Pronger is currently aiding the NHL’s safety section. He was also a member of the St. Louis Blues club that won the Hart Trophy in 1999-2000.

Children

Chris and Lauren have two sons and one daughter. Their first child, son, Jack Hunter born in 2002 and the second child, son, George William born in 2004. On July 23, 2008, Lauren gave birth to her daughter, Lilah Marie.

Parents

Christopher Robert Pronger was born to Jim and Elia Pronger on October 10, 1974. His parents came to Canada from Finland and made their home in Dryden.

Chris grew up playing minor hockey in his hometown and was picked for the Stratford Cullitons U-17 team for the 1990-91 season. After playing for Petes in the Ontario Hockey League, he was chosen for the NHL Draft in 1993.

Brother – Sean Pronger

Chris Pronger’s older brother, Sean James Pronger, is also a professional ice hockey player from Canada. He played in the NHL from 1995 to 2004. In 260 regular season games, he had 23 goals and 36 assists.
